The 1756-PA75 is an Allen-Bradley standard power supply. The module is installed in the dedicated power supply slot on the far left of the ControlLogix chassis. The main purpose of this power supply is to provide the necessary backplane power to each module installed on the chassis. The backplane power supplies the modules to operate.

The 1756-PA75 must be powered externally. It is compatible with a voltage range of 85-264VAC, a frequency of 47-63 Hz, and a nominal input voltage of 120VAC/240VAC. The power supply is rated for an output power of 75 W and a current capacity of 4A (3.3VDC), 13 A (5.1VDC), and 2.8 A (24VDC) when operating at 0…+60 °C (+32…+140 °F).

The 1756-PA75 is compatible with various ControlLogix chassis, such as 1756-A4, 1756-A7, 1756-A10, 1756-A13, 1756-A17, and chassis series, especially Series B and Series C. If the operating input power of the 1756-PA75 is suddenly interrupted, this standard power supply provides the following hold-up time: 2 cycles at 85V AC, 60 Hz; 6 cycles at 120V AC, 60 Hz; 20 cycles at 220V AC, 60 Hz. In addition, it has a rated 250V (continuous) isolation voltage, reinforced insulation type, power input to backplane type, and has been tested at 3500V DC for 60 seconds.
