  • Differential: Recommended for noisy environments (e.g., near motors or VFDs) or when sensors have independent grounds. Uses 4 channels (each pair of terminals).

Configuration & Integration
Hardware Setup:
Insert the module into a ControlLogix chassis (1756-A13, 1756-A17, etc.) and connect field devices via terminal blocks.
Software Configuration:
  • In Studio 5000, add the 1756-IF8 to the I/O tree and assign a slot.
