2711P-RP8D Allen Bradley PanelView Plus 6 700-1500 Logic Module

The 2711P-RP8D logic module by Allen-Bradley is a module in the PanelView Plus 6 series. It supports the PanelView terminals without extended features. It is a 24 Volt DC input module with 512 MB of storage memory for data and application storage. It also has a volatile memory of 512 MB for processing applications. The module can be programmed by a computer using the RS-232 serial communication port. Other devices can also be linked to the 2711P-RP8D logic module via the same port. The module also uses the Ethernet protocol for enhanced network capability, and like other PanelView Plus 6 terminals, the 2711P-RP8D uses a standard Ethernet cable for applications, and data transfers between a computer and the PanelView Plus 6 (700 to 1500) terminal.
