The Siemens 6SL3120-1TE32-0AA4 is a high-performance book-size single-axis drive module from the SINAMICS S120 series, designed for medium-to-high-power independent drive applications. As a compact inverter unit, it integrates rectification and inversion functions (with built-in DC bus) and supports direct connection to 3-phase AC power (380-480 VAC), eliminating the need for external rectification units. It is ideal for demanding industrial scenarios requiring precise speed/torque control, such as machine tools, packaging lines, and material handling systems.

  • Compact Book-Size Design: Vertical installation structure enables dense side-by-side mounting, optimizing cabinet space (module width: ~120 mm)
  • High Power Output: Rated continuous current of 200 A (peak: 200 A for 3 seconds), supporting up to ~220 kW continuous power (dependent on motor and cooling conditions)
  • Flexible Control Modes: Supports basic positioning (EPOS), speed control, torque control, and V/f mode. Requires pairing with a CU310-2 DP (PROFIBUS) or CU310-2 PN (PROFINET) control unit (ordered separately)
  • Advanced Feedback Support: Standard TTL incremental encoder (2048 ppr) and SSI interface; optional support for EnDat 2.2, BISS, or resolver feedback (via firmware activation)
  • Robust Protection: Built-in safety features include STO (Safe Torque Off, IEC 61800-5-2 SIL3/PLe), overcurrent, overvoltage, overheat, short-circuit, and ground fault protection
